Default Radiator upgrade

What are my options if I want to upgrade my radiator? Would a stock 91 rad be enough for a JDM type-R engine?

Which other bigger rads would fit my car?

Thanks

stock will be fine, but you could always go with a fluidye or the sort.

You'll be fine. Honda's have a good cooling system stock. I'm running a turbo'd LS setup in a very tight space, i'm kept under normal operating temps with the stock setup. The only reason I would upgrade would be if I was using the stock HF or STD hatch radiators. They are about 2" shorter legth-wise than the Si/DX radiators. Though i've seen a couple of my friends run them without any any trouble.

To be safe, just make sure your water pump, thermostat and other cooling system componets are in good working order. Waterwetter just for an added precaution if you're that ****.

I've got a CRX Si radiator in my B16 STD, and I've had no problems. Engine doesn't run any warmer than my stock D15.

And yeh, the Si/DX radiator is about 2-3 inches wider. The bottom mounts the same but you've gotta replace the top driver's side radiator bracket. I got mine from Honda for like $8 i think.

Actually you don't, you could've just moved to STD/HF bracket over to where the Si radiator bracket bolts down...kinda ghetto lookin but it works just fine.
