Sup everyone, I'm about to do the famous b16a engine swap in my garage into my 91' CRX si. I want to know what cherry picker/engine hoist everyone uses and what is best for the b16a and will mount on easily.

they're all basicly the same

 

i got mines from kragen .. powerbuilt ~ cheap and it holds up pretty good .. but i got that one becuz its collapsable.

 

Cool Thanks. Theres some on ebay for cheap that come with hoist and stand. Im thinking about going with that. But, I read a while back on H-T somewhere that some don't bolt up correctly.

 

I used a sliding chain bloc, and I does my own adaptor to hook up the bloc.

 

i use my neighbours, that way, it's free

seriously though, they are all pretty similar. Some of them have extendable beams and legs, but I never need them for my hondas.

 

if you have a open beam garage you can always just throw a chain over the beam and have some homies pull it out or just pull it with a another car.."sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do ~!
