I was wondering if anyone knew if they made a type R lip for accord 96-97, I absolutely hate actuall body kits so I am going lip style. Another problem is that all the lips are to aggressive for what I am going for. On integras and civics the type R lip is perfect. If anyone knows of an accord one let me know. thanks!

 

there was never a 94-97 accord type r so the answer is nope.

there are type r lips for the accords for both 94-95 and 96-97 models

 

b16b is right though. I mean they also make a 'mugen lip' for accords, but its just the name of it, its not actually made by mugen. (well actually there was one made by mugen but its very rare) the 'type r' lip was never on an accord, its just what some plastic company made and called it.

 

the Real mugen on for usdm 5th gen looks like FU_KING UGLY SH-T

The mooogen knockoff lip(replica style from REAL mugen front lip for ek) looks alright, type R(replica style from dc2r and ctR) looks cool to me.

true...abs plastic type r lips....

 

The Genuine Mugen Lip is a touring style lip similar to the Touring accords and it's made for the 1996-1997 bumpers. Mugen has a bumper cover for the 94-95 bumpers. The Mugen/Type R lips you see on ebay are not real Mugen/Type R replicas. There is no such thing as a TYPE R/EURO R for the 5th gen 94-97 Euro R came out for the 6th gen and only the JDM body Style.

 

Well there isn;t actually a real Accord Type R like the other guys say. The lip looks exactly like the CTR lip but modified for an accord and slapped with the name accord type r. Heres my CB7 with a modified 96-97 "Accord Type R" ABS lip. I think it looks clean
