ugh
i guess ill take this one
first, a gsr's vtec turns on at 4400. not 5700.
second hondata is a completley programable ecu
meaning you could set vtec to 1000 if you wanted. but it will make the car run like ***.

vtec will not "hit as hard" if you move it earlier in the rpm band unless you move the fuel curve with it. but honda put vtec where its at for a reason. power matched with economy.
i wouldnt reccomend moving it untill you have major headwork and good cams.

... a gsr's vtec turns on at 4400. not 5700...
VTEC is not a 'thing'; it's a system of 'things, and it "turns on" when you start your car. It works for blue-haired grannies and street racers alike. It doesn't matter how fast or slow you are going, if your car is running, VTEC is in action.

Don't mean to flame, bro. At least you had the courtesy to answer the guys question, but I have a hard time getting past these kinds of statements...
