Default Question: Does the car need vacuum to start?

What's up everyone. Just a quick question.

Does the motor need vacuum to start?

As we all know, fuel goes to the fuel regulator and through the rails, out the injectors and keeps on cycling. Problem with me is, Fuel goes to the regulator, BUT not through it. All lines seem fine. Fuel pump is BRAND NEW and WORKING. Fuel filter has been changed 2 weeks ago, and I got new regulator (stock) Why won't the fuel go through it though? Fuel gets there, but not through...I hope anyone can help. Any help is greatly appreciated.

of course... if there was no vaccum then the engine wouldnt suck in air... or to put it better, if there was no low pressure then air owuldnt go in

But does it need it to start up? If the car is off, where would it get a vacuum source from?

Vacuum isn't the problem. Your regulator is.

it CREATES the vaccum. It doesnt get the vaccum from a source. its basic motor knowledge.

the pistons moving up and down creates low pressure, and outside the motor is high pressure, so the air is 'sucked in', or pulled in because of the low pressure
