WHATS UP.. ok i got a 88 hatch dx shell. and i got a 99 hatchback
dx engine. what do i do to put the engine in? like what all do i need to change?

you need to find a sohc cable clutch trans, wiring harness, dizzy(distributor)mounts, clutch, axles, and probably more but thats a start.

Before you try and step you need to learn english, such as punctuation, and spelling because no one understands a damn word you type.

First off little eric, do you plan on staying with the the 88 dx fuel injection?
Or do you plan on going with the mpfi? of the 99 engine? Going with the 88 injection will simplify things and get the engine into the car, and up and running faster. The mounts that you have from the 88 engine should bolt up to the 99 engine. You can use your stock tranny/clutch/flywheel. You must use the 99 clutch if you use the 99 flywheel. Just use the 88 clutch/flywheel. Use your 88 dist. on the 99 engine. Use the wiring harness from the 88 engine and put it onto the 99, while using the 88 intake manifold and fuel injection. You may need to change out some of the sensors from the 88 engine and put them on the 99 because of different types of plugs. and there will be a bit of stuff on the 99 engine that will not get used(the 88 ecu will not look for these things)
