Help with installing remote start!
I've spent a couple hours over the last week wiring up the wires for the remote start. Now I've reached a point where the instructions aren't so clear. So anyone who is good with wiring or has put in remote start help me out...
What is active output? It's a brown wire on my autoloc remote start kit. What does it go into? I think this is actually optional, but just wondering...
The hood/door safety switch. It says it has a purple wire for cars with a + output, and a green wire for those with -. What does Honda have? Is this what hooks up to the domelight wires? Which are green/red I believe?
Parkinglights wire. Parkinglights are red/green wire right? Just checking.
Remote Start Imputs? Where do these attach to?? Pink for +, and a blue for -. I have no clue what these go into.

Normally, I'd be happy to help out with any wiring problems, but with something as potentially dangerous as a remote start, I HIGHLY recomend taking it to a professional and getting it done right!!!!
Its only dangerous if you leave it in gear. Ever since I started to drive I've left it in N and with the parking brake on. I doubt I will have any problems.
I'm especially not saying anything if you're putting a remote start into a manual transmission!!!
