tonight!! every wednesday night till like the 12th of december. and saturdays are test-n-tunes till like the 28th of dec. www.sacramentoraceway.com

 

Well can't make it to wednesday nights... since I'm in socal. But I'll be in the bayarea this weekend...thought maybe I'd hit the track up. Looking at the website....wednesdays you have to have a muffler...but test-n-tune you can run open header right?

tonight is the last wed night of the year! we don't run wed nights untill febuary. the only thing that runs all year is saturday test n tune.
and YES we do care about open exhaust on wed nights!! you will not race unless you have a muffler and it acutally muffles your exhaust
saturday test n tunes open exhaust is allowed.

 

yeah that's true. just take it off in the pits. sometimes they don't even make me pop the hood, and just make me sign the paper.

 

when i brought my car for tech inspection on a trailor the guy looked underneath my car a found no muffler. he told me to run a muffler next time i run at sac. or else i will be leaving my car on the trailor
That's why i just welded on a glass pack.

i dont know off hand and it's not on the website, i'll find out on saturday about the winter warmup and i'll let you know.
and guys the reason for the mufflers wed nights is because we have a noise ordinace with the city of sacramento. the cars have to be under 90db's at 50 feet. even if you have mufflers and you peg the meter you are not allowed to run. with all then new housing developments right around the track complaints are coming in more offten. even tho the track was there first and they have to sign a paper that says they know that, they still bitch and moan. if they do bitch enough the city will send out an inspector and they could shut us down on the spot. we're just coving our asses and im saving my job. i would be ******* pissed if i lost my dream job beacuse someone's car was too lound on a wed night. thanks for understanding
