has anybody found a civic at a auction and if so how much did you get it for and what year is it. im looking for answers in the nyc area but all replys are welcome. im looking for a 96 and up civic as a new project thats why i asked about the auction

 

just picked upa 95 cx hb for 1900, varies in your area though. Honda's are stolen a lot here so I get to pick from a lot of cars. Only thing i need to replace were seats.

 

i picked up a 93hb auto at an auction near philly for $1600 including tax and tags, it is a clean title with not a spot of rust on her, the paint is not in the greatest shape but that doesn't really matter, if you are looking at doing an engine swap, auction is the best way to go, because it then doesn't matter how it runs, mine bearly made it home (talk about being slow ) but not even 72hrs later all was stripped except for the rear suspension and ready for a new life

 

Here in TX honda/acura's are always at the auctions and prices vary greatly on condtion and age. My friend picked up my 92 DX Hb for under a $600..It was a stolen recovery car, meaning this thing was stripped no motor,no interior,no dash,no lights, no front suspenion no bumpers or bumper covers, COMPLETELY stripped. But I think it was worth it.


It sucks but one of the main reasons hondas/acuras are at these auctions are because they are stolen recovery cars, that have been stripped this bad.

saw a 93 dx coupe sell for 1800 @ auction in Columbia SC

 

93 cx, regular rust spot, other than that, it was mint....900 bucks. My girl----friend, not girlfriend, works at this auction place, she picked up a good running 1988 4 door golf, for 25 bucks!!! decent condition also.
