Default Clutch 101 Help

When choosing a clutch, what do you look for?

What is the difference between a 4 puck and 6 puck, street disc?

im guessing at this but i think 4 puck has 4 springs and 6 puck has 6. i think the 4 puck is stronger than the 6 puck. not to sure though. i remember reading that somewhere. if im wrong please correct me.

Your kinda right, a 4 or 6 puck has 4 or 6 pucks and on each puck is a spring. They might not even have springs (racing clutch). The less pucks you got the harsher its going to be. If your not doing any forced induction or extremely high NA power, like from a type r, go with an organic. The puck disk will just **** you and your tranny off. Just get a heavier pressure plate.

Got it mixed up. The less pucks there are, the harsher the clutch is going to be because the disc exerts more pressure with its lesser surface area.
