Default ITR Expo 03: Tech Sessions..

The We-Todd's (and maybe others?) will most likely be doing tech sessions during the Expo.

Post what you would like to see done so we can plan it out.

If you want a Tech Session on installing an FD, bring an FD.

Tech session on installing B's, bring B's.

Tech session on brake pads, bring pads

We can't do any really major work due to obvious time restrictions. Tech sessions may occur after the track time is over. We'll have to figure that out later.

gordon: read the last paragraph

also: this isn't 100% to happen. we might not feel like doing it, or we may be too intoxicated. It also depends on if we work the event or if NASA does as that's up in the air still.

So don't go buy parts for us to install them quite yet.

Tech Sessions sound awesome, I have no real preference as to what is done... I just would like to learn more about anything to upgrade myself from my current status of mechanical retard.

I'd kind of like some sort of introduction to the engine management system. I get kinda lost some times because I don't always know what all the components that people are always talking about do exactly. It would also be helpful to have some basic tuning strategies laid out. Stuff along the lines of "when you change this, you also need to change this and this to this because of this."

A big *** BBQ sounds good, too

Screw the Tech seesions... BBQ with lots of naked chicks and lots of Kegs!

Ok maybe not the chicks but the kegs... OMG I think I'll drink till I puke, that might only be about 10 large cups(16oz) in an hour.

Actually now that I think about it, probably the best thing you guys could do is go over a tutorial on how to change wear items like clutches and brake pads. (Both things I'm guilty of spending big ******* bucks to get changed.)

Oh, Valve adjustment would be cool too... I don't know, just normal adjustment/wear stuff you need to do in the course of owning an R

You spend money to get brake pads changed? I can understand the clutch, but the brakes are nothing more than a bolt out, a flip of the caliper up, swap em, and put it all back..
