Default WHAT THE $#*! could be the problem!!????

Alright last night i just got an Si transmission with 55K and a Clutch Specialties Stage 3 racing clutch put into my car....driving it was rough as **$#. My whole car shook, it was very hard to get the car into gears no matter how hard i pushed on the clutch. Also my car was very loud now with a da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da kind of sound and i could smell fuel. Any ideas with what could be wrong???

i don't see how anything drivetrain related could have to do with the loud *** noise, seriously its defeaning like i'm running with just my header, no exhaust.

why the stage 3 clutch? if i'm not mistaking that's supposed to hold at least 225 hp over stok... i mean, that would definitely make it a bitch to shift but the noise and the shitty driving won't relate to the new tranny...
take it to autozone, they'll hook it up to the machine and at least try to figure out what' wrong!
good luck...

check the exhaust system for any holes or lose connections, it might be something there!

problem solved..or sort of...i popped the hood about 10 minutes after posted this and it seems that my header and lower exhaust manifold were not bolted together, and there wasn't a gasket...what bullshit, anyway the guy is coming over to fix it tonight so hopefully that solves the problem...and shifting has gotten better i just need to really press in the clutch....oh and the stage 3 because i'm going to go turbo pretty soon, just wanted it in there and it was really cheap from a friend.
