93 legend, abs code, need help
ok, my gf's mother drives a 93 legend, auto tranny.
abs light is on.
i havent had a chance to get the MIL code, im assuming the plug is in the standard place, under passenger glove box?
anyway, it was checked at a mechanics shop, and she was told that her speed sensor needs replacement.
#1, why would a faulty speed sensor throw an abs code?
#2, if this is true, i need one asap. anyone got one? anyone know if other speed sensors will fit so i can hunt for it?
thanks a ton...

so after some research, i found a great article.

im now led to believe its the wheel speed sensors. im no familiar with this car, but i assume these are the little black boxes near the brake lines on each wheel? how the hell do i know which one it is?? are they all the same so i can buy one and try one at a time?

The ABS code will tell you which wheel speed sensor circuit is the problem. All the sensors are different. You need the correct one for the corner that you are replacing.
so i just read theABS trouble codes, and am getting two codes; a 4 (4 fast flashes), and an 8 (same pattern).
i cant find abs codes anywhere.. can anyone point me in the right direction, please??

Those rear sensors can be a bit$h to get out of the backing plates in the rear. To get the new sensor back in after the old one gets out can be a pain as well, that is unless you force it then it breaks and you start all over.
