My ABS light has been on for a week or so now and I decided to pull the code. Following the DIY (thanks to the great people at Team Integra) I've pulled multiple codes.

16. RR - Wheel Sensor (electrical noise/intermittent interruption)
17. RL - Wheel Sensor (open/short to ground/short to power)
18. RL - Wheel Sensor (electrical noise/ intermittent interruption)
81. CPU - Central Processing Unit


Can anyone help me resolve this?

 

i would say change the wheel speed sensors that are bad...but that code 81...sounds expensive....

 

I would focus on code 81. For how long has this light been showing? I doubt that both rear wheel sensors would fail at the same time. Changing those can be a pain if the lower shock bolts are seized in the bushing. The ABS computer is in the right rear next to the rear seat on the 3-door.

 

Code 81 Comes on when you have a wheel speed sensor failure. Dont throw parts at your car that are expensive. Diagnose and fix your problems.

Code 81 dosnt not mean you have a ABS CM Failure. Like I said diagnose your wheel speed sensors and if their is any hacked wiring check that.

Clean any metal off the sensors, Make sure your ABS Ring of your front drive axels isnt rusted. You do have ABS Axels right. Do the same for the rear.

 

You can easily check the wheel speed sensors with a multimeter. I cannot recall the acceptable resistance offhand. It is in the Helm manual.
