Default d16a6 or mini me with turbo?

i just got a 91 DX for 500$ and i want to play with it a bit make it faster
but i dont know what i want to go with, just a regular d16a6 or a mini me of some sort. will the mini me make much more power over the a6?
i want to run about 10-11psi on either setup, with proper parts. i know the mini me is going to cost more and be more of a pain to put in, but is it worth the extra cash? or should i just stick with the a6 with a good cam and whatnot?

choices choices, i just dont know what i want to go with, i dont want to do a b16a or a ZC ive done both of those before, i kinda want to stay simple

boost the d16a6...the mini-me is going to have higher compression which limits how much boost can be used. You will probably be able to boost the d16a6 more reliably.

What he said. If you absolutely must do a turbo mini me, don't use the Y8 head. It bumps the compression up even higher that a Z6 head. I have a friend that did a Z6 mini me at 10 psi. It ran like crazy until a big chunk of cylinder wall between cylinders 2 and 3 decided to take a little vacation to the Piston Top Resort.

Its all in Tuning, I have had 2 Turbo Mini-me's Both using the Z6 head.. A6 and B2 blocks, Both ran low to mid 13's in a Civic Chasis @ 7-8psi

I used the Zdyne Gold SECU to tune..

I am sure you could get away with the 450cc/Hack with a turbo mini-me, may want to invest in a BTM as well... check out my site

with stock internals on a A6 i will not go over 7 psi on a daily basis...
u might crank it up to 10 psi on a ocasional drag strip race, but dont use it until u really build ur internals..
