Ok, i was wondering which is a better manifold to use Skunk2 I/M or the STR I/M? anyone with experience of both give me some advice on the both? does the STR manifold use the stock sensors?
you have to modify the the str one although it does use the stock sensors. It really depends what setup you have to determine which manifold is better. Id say on a turbo car or a super heavily modified all motor car, the big plenum and short runners of the str would make it better and the skunk2 the oppisite of what I just said. I have a brand new str manifold for a gsr head for sale for 600 obo if anyone is looking for one.

i'm kind of interested in a STR manifold, i'm going to be getting a 00 GSR engine swapped into a 89 crx, do you think the STR I/M would fit in the space??
It was on the Bergenholtz CRX back in the day! I know they have repositioned the motor in the bay now for a better position which is easier on the axles, I think they lowered it and have a dry sump now. It should fit but let ninesecrx answer since he has a CRX and had this mani. JG/Edelbrock has been great for me also! STR is great I think for FI but unsure for an NA motor, even the JG one is too big IMHO!
It should fit with no problems. This manifold is brand new though...I have never installed it so I am not 100 percent sure, but id say im like 99 percent sure. I have the JG one in my car right now with a gsr in a crx and that fits with space as well. The only thing it would have a chance at hitting would be the master cycl. and it should be no problem cause that style chassis comes with a smaller one then the gsr or newer style civics. It will actually give you more clearance from the firewall as well.

no it's not boosted, it's stock right now but i was planning on building the internals up and going all motor and possibly shooting nitrous into it.
