Default Leaky Brake Booster/Master Cylinder???

Ok so I'm piddlin with my car tryin to make the hood come up w/gas shocks ....had some extra lyin around....anyways to my question/post/vent....I noticed that BELOW my master cylinder/brake booster
(aluminum thing that says Nissin on it) that the paint was worn off and bubbled up like paint stripper does , well to paint(duh). This continues down the firewall and onto that back subframe suspension thing. CRASIZZAP! It looks like that if there is a gasket between the (aluminum NIssin thing/ brake booster?) and the (big round black thing/master cylinder) is where the leak is coming from....If I choose to tackle this thing on my own...(1)will all the fluid spew everywhere?
I have a junk 90 si hatch w/that all still on it.(2) Will it help any to swap them?...most importantly....(3) is my car driveable? i mean theres not like a constant drip or anything, but must just be leakin when the brake is applied....(4) anyone else had this prob/&/or fixed it?

crap man this puts my motor swap back for a while I guess. I really don't want to quit on my pos after takin it this far, but my mom is strongly suggestin that I should look for another car...She'll help out about 6-7k , but that still shows just how much I love my hatch ...maybe ill keep both and let it sit till im older (im 18)...i caaaaann get cars thru Carmax @wholesale....??? Ahhh I'm sad, mad, and tinytinytiny bit glad...it's always nice to have somethin newer right??? I saw in the Atl. Journal con. class. a 94 civic cx hatch w/90k mi. on it...hmm maybe b16 it? and swap my nice stuff over to it...??? I dont know??? kinda would like something that ALREDY has the nice motor in it....

guys/gals let me get some opinions on the car purchase thing and/or about how to ail my leaky car

External leak from the master is a dead giveaway....its your primary cup seal...at this point its to late...you do need a new MC....I doubt you can rebuild MC's so just buy a new one..and bench bleed it..

then install it and bleed the brakes numorous times...

And No I didnt read on here people saying there brake booster was leaking...??? wow....Honda's have a vaccum booster ....when was the last time any of you guys with put brake fluid in your ef's booster?

It's real simple to change out the MC. I've changed out 3 already. Just remember to bleed the brakes a few times.
Just get some kind of manual to show you the steps.
