Default JDM guru's: who knows about Real Racing rims?

Found a set in BLACK, 15x7, +43 offset...

Are these forged? Supposedly 9-10lbs each...

Anyone know anyting about these?

I'm thinking of trading some te37's for these... same size and offset...

.....thanks for the quick replies guys.

So my choice is

15x7 te37's in bronze, +43 offset

OR

15x7 Starform Real Racing R2's in black, +43 offset

.....now which set will clear my sp00n calipers without spacers?

And the first dude who says "buy it and see" gets the

what, don't the TE 37's clear the Sp00ns?

.....nobody seems to know for SURE.

Looks like I've got the te37's locked down. I'll try to pick them up this weekend and at least I'll know for sure then...

Starform Real Racing R2's would look DOPE on a black itr, imho... more sleeper too... But I dunno on the fitment over my calipers. Jason, they're all yours!

Me and my friend EK Ferio posted the pic and info on this forum before but maybe u guys missed it.

15x7 Real Racing R2 HAVE NO PROBLEM with SPOON 4pot twin block calipers. I have no pic to prove. But someone I know has that setup on his car. No spacer needed.

It's forged and looks pretty good on many cars. By the way I'm talking about 15x7 4x100 OR 5x114.3 both with +45mm THAT WILL clear the spoon calipers.

I have 15x7 +43 TE37 rims. They don't clear the STOCK calipers without a 5mm spacer, so I kind of doubt they would clear the Spoon calipers. If you get those wheels, just make sure to get spacers as well.

Ask Wai about it I think he's using 8mm or so with that setup. Good thing is R2 comes in white or black. The classic colors IMO so it's pretty easy to match your car. R2 for a LONNNNNNNNG time.

if you're spending so much money on the wheels, why not get 15x7.5, that would help clearance as well as handling... i thought volks come in that size.

.....I'm not spending that much $ on these wheels. But I'm getting the 15x7 cause that's what's for sale. Sure, Ideally 15x7.5 or 15x8 would be nice, but oh well... those aren't for sale on the low low, nahmean?

spoonek4, Wai is using spacers with his te37's in 15x6.5... so there's still hope, but not much imho... I'll prolly need 4-5mm spacers...

Gansan are you sure you need 5mm spacer to clear the stock brakes with 15x7 TE37? Mine is 15x6.5 (42 or 43 offset) and only needed 2mm to clear the stock brakes.

With Spoon calipers, I need 8mm spacers (15x6.5 TE37). I went with 10mm and it works great.
