Default Squeeky 93 Accord!!!!???? WTF?

Hey wussups, I'm new in here and had a tech question and was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have a 93 accord 10th anniversary and it SQUEEKS. I mean literally squeeks. It squeeks when I turn the steering wheel to the left and whenever I go over bumps. I though that it was possibly my struts so I changed in some KYB's and some coilovers..... Didn't work, my brother said possibly something wrong with my axles.... changed them.... still squeeks. I know it's not power steering fluid, and I tried spraying all the suspension parts with grease and lubing them up. Still the same thing. It seems to be coming mostly from the driver side but when I jacked it up and shook it a little from the rotors, the noise comes from under the engine from the passenger side. Finally my cousin told me it's most likely a loose nut or bolt. So.... I tightened everything down that I could see. What IN THE BLAZEZ CAN IT BE!!!!???? If someone has had this problem before, please let me know what they did. IE which bolts to tighten, what parts you needed to replace. Oh yeah, I have seen three or four accords with the same squeeking problem. But they don't seem to bother with fixing it so they're no help. Any advice is great. Thanks!

Did you take off your sway bar mounts and grease them? They can make a nasty creaking noise if they get dried out.

I wouldn't want to take my car to the shop and then get a diagnosis of a loose nut or something little. However, I don't want to ignore it like the other accord owners and let my ride squeek like a beeezatch.

It sounds like you checked the suspension, but did you check the condition of the rubber bushings? On my Accord (92 LX CDN), the rubber bushings are cracking and are generally in bad shape. I'm pretty convinced that the squeaking on my car is from that.

You said you greased and lubed the suspension, but I thought I'd just share one experience. Like the 3 or 4 other Accords, I'm not going to bother getting it fixed. One thing I will say though, now that winter is here, the squeaking has disappeared for some reason.

Anyhoo, GL, share the solution to your problem if you get it fixed.

^^^^

yeah, my ST rear swaybar made a ton of noise with the polyurathane bushings, even lubed up with the ST jizz.

i spooged them all in silicone paste and they have been quiet ever since.

I'd be willing to bet it's your lower ball joint that's dryed up. It'll soon start to loosen, and you will have to replace it.

Other than the squeeks, the car runs fine. Thanks for all the advice guys. I guess I'll just replace the rubber bushings with poly's, keep them greased up. If that don't work, replace my lower ball joint. And if that still doesn't work.... SAY HELLO TO MY WINTER CAR! He he he.

If you have a camber-kit, check that and grease it.
