H22 in 89 accord?
the B16A swap will definitely fit but again, you'll need new motor mounts. Check it -- http://vtecnos.tripod.com/
or you can "easily" turbo your motor if it's the fuel-injected LX-i or SE-i: http://www.88turboaccord.net/
It's very rare to see people really do-up the 3G accords like those above two.

is your Accord a manual? if so, do it in the accord. that'd be a sweet sleeper if you built up the B18C. no one expects 3G Accords to be fast.
but EGs are sweet, too.
i'd still drop it in the accord for ***** and giggles. i almost did that on mine (except with a JDM B16) but i totalled the car before i even got a chance.

i agree that it would be a good sleeper but the times would be much better with the b18c in the civic. my civic is a dx and the accord is an lxi so the weight difference is quite a lot.

Yes it can be done, but as said above, it requires a lot of work, I have seen one 3rd gen h22 accord, I would post a link to the pic, but it is no longer available, and here is a post on a 3rd gen accord webboard, reguarding swapping h22s in 3rd gens..

here is the bad link to the pic of the h22 3rd gen, in case it ever does become available again...

How much does the Civic DX weigh? My 88 Accord weighted 2600 lbs with the B16 in it. Sunroof and all seats (stock)
