Default D16A6 Stock Internals

How good are the rods/crank for revs? How much can they handle? With my setup i want to be shifting at 7500-8000. is that too much? (i think it is)

i put a pr3 ecu in my car and grounded the vtec wire and i was able to rev to 8200 rpm...i did this for about 3 months and the motor had about 170k miles and now its coming close to 200k and its still running good no problems once so ever....i think you just have to make sure youre block is still in good condition..............itll handle it
