damn trunk mat

damn trunk mat
My trunk mat never stays in place. I carry my heavy book bag in the trunk along with some other stuff, and when i turn, the mat just slides around and folds itself up while at the same time scattering everything around. Is anyone else having this problem, how do i fix.

I had this same prob. What I did was go to a store such as Wal-Mart and buy these mats that go under house rugs and prevent them from slipping. This keeps my mat from sliding around. Hope it works for u

Purchase more velcro strips and put them in various spots underneath the carpet. Never done this myself but I think it would help a bit.

my trunk mat's rubberish underside keeps it in place on the carpet.. i'm not sure how it could be sliding around.. is something getting caught on it and pulling on it possibly?

velcro gets my vote... just make sure its strong. or just goto walmart or somthing and ask someone in the "upholstry" dept. even better, goto lowes
