Default diagnose this problem?

Hey guys, my roomate has an accord and just yesterday for some reason when you push the clutch down it takes virtually no pressure to push it down. Before you it takes a little effort to push the clutch down but now there is no pressure on the clutch until you get about 3/4 of the way down. The catch point is also lower now. Just wondering what you guys think might have happened.

Check the clutch fluid level, I had a leaky clutch master cylinder a while back and got it replaced, it was under 200 bucks and was the first time I spent any money on a repair since I had the car. I had around 130K on the car when it went.

leak or air in the clutch lines.
check the fluid level in the clutch master cylinder and see if there are and leaks along the clutch line.

go under the dash and peek at the clutch rod that goes into the master cylinder, if you see fluid leaking around the boot then your clutch master cylinder is shot.

Check the slave cylinder for leaks also

slave cylinder is what got me...if the leak is bad enough the clutch pedal will be on the floor(and i dont mean with you pressing it in)in about 24 hours or less,

Wow I didn't think the title was a problem, a couple of us gave him suggestions, and there was peace in the thread, and now he's getting chewed out over a thread title?

this is why the search fucntion sucks. becuase of threads titled like this, he just said that to make it easier for everyone when they are searching, he wasnt giving him a hard time just for in the future.

That's fine but why did he have to be so derogatory about it, it could have simply been said:

I've changed the title of this thread so that it corresponds to the problem discussed in this thread, please include this from now on. THanks...

Ill tell u why I wasnt so nice and polite, its right there in the guidelines

Not only that but its just common sense! IM TIRED OF CHANGING THREAD TITLES 50% of threads are named "i need help" i should start leaving them all alone so the whole first page is full of:

Need Help!!
I need help
I have a problem
Can someone help me?
My accord isnt running right
Something isnt right
Can anyone tell me whats wrong?
Help me fix this problem

And the search feature gets worse and worse. So if you all want me to stop policing it I will and when you complain about the search function sucking you have no one to blame but yourselves. So as long as no one can take an extra 5 seconds to describe whats actually in their thread and include it in the title I will continue to get annoyed.

could be a leak in any of the hydraulic parts of the clutch system, master cylinder or slave cylinder leaks. Quick patch could be adding clutch fluid to the resevoir if its low, and pumping the clutch pedal to get a lil more resistance in it.
