Default 97 accord : NOISE LEVEL

hi . i own a 97 accord COUPE . ugh ; well . the noise level while driving is pretty undesirable . does anyone know what's the reason for this ?

well this is what i know: my car doors doesnt need to be ' slamed or push hard ' to close it . you can just lightly push it and it's locked tight . ( could that be the reaons ? does it need to be slammed tight in order to achieve lower noise level ? )

hmm, 94-97 Accords are actually pretty quiet for a car it's age and price range until you start modding it then the exhuast cuts right through it.

Tire choice can cause some road noise too. I can't wait to loose the factory Michilins on my wifes 01 Accord...they suck on the highway for noise.

Good luck finding something quieter, about the only thing good about those tires is noise level and rolling resistence that's why they suck for handling.
