put a filter on it.

you ever cleaned your stock air filter at all? notice any little rocks.

Those rocks = bye bye turbo/engine

Spendy $20 on a filter or spend $6k on a new engine/turbo setup. your chioce

if you cant get a filter for it you can use a lil wire mesh(like the pasta strainer)the put like a piece of cloth over that then another piece of mesh over that. Just in case u dont have room for a filter

where can you buy the filter piping?
Just get a 180° mandrel bent section of pipe that's the same diameter as your inducer. Then get a filter that will flow as much or more CFMs as the turbo will, and make sure it has the same diameter as the pipe.

Example- T3. 2.5" inducer diameter. You'd get a 180° mandrel bent u 2.5" pipe and a cone filter with a 2.5" throat that will flow at least 350 CFM. Then some 2.5" sillycone couplers and hose clamps, cut the u pipe to fit the bends you need; badda bing, badda boom, done.

i used screen from a screen door. cut out a square and through it on the end of the turbo w/ a clamp. when i went to the track, i took it off and ran bare. works fine.

I use a K&N cone filter with a 4" inlet for my 60-1. It's only 3 inches tall and fits perfect.

I bought a 4" exhaust mandrel bend elbow, T-bolt clamps and 4" coolant hose from Napa and made my intake for my 60-1. Oh yeah, I also ordered the K&N from them as well.
