crx si cluster swap to 89 crx dx help!
i took a crx si cluster (not sure what year exactly) and put it in my 89 civic dx and so far so good. it was just plug and play (10min job, most of the time looking for the damn screws to unscrew

if it's not working properly, you've got a 90-91 cluster or a broken one. you've got an 89 so by moving wires make you're 89 plug configuration match the 90-91 plug configuration. you don't have to cut wires . use a needle or safety pin to move the plastic piece inside each plug to slide wires out. do them one at a time , there are six wires that have to be cut and moved to the other plug. follow that link.
