Will a fuel cut defender move the point of fuel cut? ie revs?
Can u adjust the points of begining and the end of the fuel cut?
Thanks

Huh? Fuel cut on my 94 was just past 220km/h, how much faster do you want to go?

Thats wat i thought.......
This guy tells me that the rev cut in 5th gen accords are due to a fuel cut, hence the limiter bouncing at 6350rpm....
Wat do u need to extend ur revs?

6350rpm? that sucks. I was able to push mine to 6500-6700 easily and it was an automatic. Hell, my 4th gen will go to 7000, it didn't like to but it will. I changed to the P14 ecu and now it likes to though

It doesnt even make power to 6000, nevermind 6250. why do you want to rev higher? Why arent you asking about cams and head work?

build up your motor so that you can actually make good use of the extra rpm, then worry about revving higher.

Bent valves are good aren't they? lol, the motor has 292,000kms on it and is burning oil, as long as it lasts till spring i don't care. It does pull alot harder all the way to 7000 with the P14 and the injectors though.

i put an fcd in one of my friends supra's. It wont work with an accord. The FCD has a few wires that have to be wired properly, and a small dial on the front. The dial has #'s on it from like 1-20. The instructions of the FCD tells you what # to put it on depending on what car your using the FCD in. Every car listed is a factory turbo car. We accidently had the FCD on the wrong setting, and the supra ran horribly rich, then we figured out the correct # to put it on. Anyway to get rid of fuel cut, get a computer that has it removed, or get your computer modified. As for me i have a 93 accord 10th anniversary edition (hopped up LX), and my car has fuelcut at 6300rpm. I got a computer out of an 92 EX, which doesnt have fuelcut, which i'll be installing this week. Good Luck.

I've just put in a h22a and didn't get the p13 ecu. So i'm stuck with the crap accord one. I dont have enought revs!!!!!!!!! When i put in the p13, the CEL comes on and my bottom end is really sluggy. Things don't get goin till after 400rpm....
Probs, ahhhhh......

either something forgot to be plugged in or the wiring was not done correctly to accomidate the p13

pull the CEL
get wiring diagrams
finish the job

FCDs or Fuel Cut Defenders, or defencers, are generally for turbo cars only. Sole purpose is to eliminate factory fuel cut on turbo cars in order to run more boost.

More Boost=Hotter Combustion=More Fuel or Higher Octane/Leaded Fuel Needed

If are running the accord ECU you should not be running that past 4k rpm. Get the right ECU ASAP before you **** up your motor.

Sorry to sound DUH, but should the car not be going over 4k or i shouldn't be taking it past 4k? Wat happens if i use the accord ecu for a while?

You should not be driving the hard which would mean anything past 4k without the correct ECU. You don't want to risk damage to your motor. Why didn't the motor come with an ECU?

hope you all do not think your factory tach gives a accurate reading for basing your rpm numbers on... it does NOT display the correct rpm esp. in the higher rpms.

even my old lude factory tach was way off... like 500-550 rpm in the top end.

oh yeah I got a p14 si lude ecu for any of you non-vtec f22's that want a bit more revs and stuff.

At 4K rpm my tach is off by 200rpm. Once I get past stock 6,200 redline I'm horrible off. The V-AFC will say 7,200 when the tach hits around 7,800.

anyways, it's kind of a moot point without the proper ECU since he'll have the accord fuel cut which is like 6,500 or so. Then you got the wack fuel maps and timing which all a good reason not to be running the H22 hard until you have the right ECU.

These ECUs will work with no problem on the non-Vtec Accords? Is there a power increase over the stock Accord ECU? And which year Prelude is this from?

I doubt it. The extra revs aren't going to help cause the motor doesn't make anymore power up there and the internals won't like it either. Then the fuel maps and timing will be different, who knows what will happen there, it could help or hurt peformance.

it does help, pulls stronger through the midrange and pulls hard to 7000rpms, mind you i'm runing the h23a1 injectors as well. the only thing is the CEL will come on because the ECU is looking for the knock sensor which the F22's don't have. I've run like this for a month now with no problems and I drive pretty hard.
