I got the Tial wastegte on my 00 Si, but i have hood clearance witht tial wastegate so i was wondering if i can take off the top air breather, since the side one i use for MBC and dont know if i can take that tope one off and leave it open just like the picture showed here http://www.afterhourzracing.com/shop/projectcars.php. What is going to happen in the long run, or its ok to take it off.

 

Youre supposed to let the top one vent into the atmosphere like that if you do not have an electronic boost controller.

 

Take the top screw off of the wastegate.. You dont need it, its just for other applications. If you dont take it off, it will dent your hood like it did to mine.
