Soup **** was merely having some fun lighten up. Your B16A crx needs a cable trans. The ITR trans w/ LSD is a hydro trans.

How do you know he doesn't have the 2nd Gen. B16A? 88-89 is the year of his CRX, not motor, thus he could have a hydraulic tranny.

 

He means racing in the snow?

 

I don't, how do you know he didn't mean the motor was 88-89. Either way I would of think he would of mentioned if he converted the car to hydro or not.

ICE RACING is super fun! Just small circuit racing on frozen lakes up north. And if there is a lot of snow they actually plow or shovel a road course. Super fun too, rally style kind of but similar to road courses, just set up a start/finish and go all out with tires that have studs, even dedicated ice racing tires (scary in a Freddy Krueger way)... fender to fender stuff, pretty wild.

this is a little off topic, but still lsd related. i was wondering why i get some wheel hopping sometimes when i shift hard into second gear, and during hard cornering? anybody have any ideas? i still have the stock itr suspension with skunkworks coilovers, tires are still pretty good. could it be a bad tranny or lsd, maybe the tires are cold, road conditions????? help, thanks

 

you shouldn't be shifting during hard cornering....
in SLOW out FAST...
