clutch pedal
Just recently ive been having a little problem wiht my clutch. when i push in the clutch pedal to disengage the clutch, it travels all the way to the floor before doing so. I checked the fluid level, and it was empty. So i went ahead and added some fluid. I didnt have a chance to bleed the system, because i was by myself, and had to go to work. the acutal clutch seems to work fine, its just the pedal thats giving me a little troube. Any help would eb appreciated. this is for a 93 dx hatch.
thanx,

yeah bleed the clutch or you will end up replacing it, i had the same problem and then my clutch completely burned out, so you should bleed the air out of there and see how it feels.
ill agree sounds like there is air in the system.
on the front of the transmission there is the slave cylinder (cant miss it, has a metal line comming off of it that runs along the firewall to the master cylinder)
there is a little 10mm bolt on the end of it with a little nipple to let fluid out. open the bolt a couple screws have someone press the clutch all the way down and hold it, then close the bolt, release the clutch, then check the fluid level.
repeat that till no air bubbles come out of the slave cylinder.
