Should I balance my slicks?

It helps on the top end. I balanced and roadforced mine. Used stick on weights for the inner and outer, then used high speed duct tape to tape over the weights to make sure they don't come off during a burnout and kill someone.

 

what does roadforced mean?

 

bumpy when their not balanced.

 

Slicks are just like any other tire, they must be balanced.

 

roadforce is a measurement of the deflection of the tire when loaded(on the road). you need a special machine to measure it. picks up tire out of round as well as rim problems that aren't obvious due to run out or other causes. We have Hunter machine that measures it at work.
