no hole in the carpet, but it is stripping the paint off my clutch pedal though...

yeah...just trying to get it in place so it stays snug just shreds off the paint off my clutch pedal....no wear in the carpet yet..... which way do you guys put on your autolock....the lock facing the left or the right?

well i dont really care about the paint chipping from my clutch pedal. its not like i want to win show points for having a jdm flat black clutch pedal

this is the pic of the "newer" version. this has a round key, whereas the "older" had the flat key.

it is a device that keeps your clutch/brake pedal locked in so it cannot be depressed. so in a manual transmission vehicle, locking the clutch down keeps a thief from being able to drive it away. plus, it is very very close to impossible to break

you can get it from any autoparts store(ie:autozone, pepboys, kragen, etc) or any discount store (ie:kmart, target, wallmart, i have also seen them at ross, go figure.)

thats why i used plastidip and covered the bottom part of the autolock.

Yep it will do that over time if you leave it on along time(winter storage). Only solution is to not put it on so tight. But is that the best

have you ever seen the wrenches with a plastic/rubber type coating well they dip it in plastic dip ...
Is it just me, or does the new version not fit on the clutch pedal because of the dead pedal?

If you put the autoloc on the clutch, the car is still drivable. You can start the car in first gear and just shift without using the clutch. they are very good but only on automatic tranny.
