Honda motors online is good every swap ive seen from them has been good , nothing broken and clean strong motors. Good customer service too, no hassles, if somthing is broken they replace it. I recomend them.
Just say no to HMO. Things are getting shady over there. If I were in your position again..I'd go with IAS (importautosalvage.com) You pay a little more but you'll probably get a motor that is clean, and doesnt smoke.

BTW- there is a very informative thread in HYBRID. Just search where did you buy your engine***

jdmhondaparts.com - they know what they doing over there, and have clean, strong motors. 5 of my buddies went through them and the motors were clean, and started right up- also did the 1st gear smoke test-nada! Telling you go through them.
If your getting a 1st gen b16 then no matter who you buy it from you need to take the head to a machine shop and have the valve guide tolerances checked!!!!!!!
I got my motor from hmotorsonline.com and had to have new guides put in my head.. that was an extra 300$!!! (but I added new guide seals of course, a port and polish and a 3 way valve job
)
If you're going to be reving high or racing (drag/autocross/track) you need to have good guide tolerances in order to maintain a healthy engine.
