Default OT: I'm outta here.

This website and some of its inhabitants have offically pissed me off. I've had enough of 17 yearold armchair mechanics telling me how things "really" work. Soon as I get my technician shirts from the GB I'll be totally gone.

People who I care about, you know where to find me.

you're right... no offense but some honda-tech people can be dicks sometimes... that's why you see all these "views" for a thread but no "replies..." there are so many rules and guidelines in the accord forum now that it seems boring to even check out some of the threads... i usually frequent the appearance/cosmetic section and the forced induction section... at least they got pics there to look at...

-hondasociety may have some rice but at least it's more laid back and not every other response is "do a search..."

You obviously havent read the guidelines, because if you did you would have seen that they are just a statement of the obvious and common sense. But for whatever reason people try to make model specific forums (Civic etc) their own site within a site, and thats not the idea here.

We have an Appearance forum for looking at pictures.

The FI forum has pics sure, but they have great tech discussion too.

Hey! Guess What! We have a Members Corner for Off Topic stuff too.

Im sorry if you arent entertained unless you see pictures

Hondasociety just flat out sucks.

SHO turned to ****, Hondasociety turned to ****, Honda and acura.net went to ****, PureHonda went to ****, and H-T is the same it was in 2000 when it first appeared.

There is a reason H-T is the BEST honda site.
And its not because we let anything go. Its a mature board with im willing to bet a higher average member age than most other sites.

Nick- who is getting really ****** tired of no one understanding why the site is laid out like this, it has a successful management strategy, if it aint broke, dont fix it

Gimpy gave me a fair amount of knowledge on the tread(s) I posted, and others to which I participated or not. I appreciated his contribution, him and every other member can help build up the big picture about every questions asked on this forum. I appreciated this also.

But when it comes to slamming the door in the way he did after his opinion and/ or preference was discussed on the following thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=293181, I don't think this kind of attitude reflects the general attitude of this forum, and he might get away with this better off in some other sucker forum nick m named.

But whenever gimpy cools off and takes another peek here, I'll be glad to hear more of his "educated opinion", because this is what it's all about here.

Well, if ya' do go I know I'll miss ya'. I have a feeling in some repects, at least, we think a lot alike. That offer still stands. BTW, CT is changing it's software soon and we have to re-register, I was able to get Hippie this time so stop by there if you have any "?'s" on that '67. You can usually find me in the '61-'64 Forum or Chit Chat. The new software doesn't take affect for a few weeks but if you holler for Hippie I'll still see it.

When I think of an "accordian" i think of the instrument...not a person who drives a Honda Accord

not trying to be a complete dick to a quality member but,

quit crying.................... you will always travel these waters, if you really upset and not gonna post here anymore you would have just left and not said anything. Having us feel sorry for you will not rectify the situation

Nick - delete this crap

everyone's got their own opinion ofcourse... bash whatever forums you want... i'm not saying one forum is "better" than the other... we all got our own preferences... the technical info on honda-tech is great-that's why i'm still here... it's like reading the articles in playboy but no pics at all... it's not that i can't live without pics but some would be cool... there's just so much technical blah blah that there are barely any pics or diagrams for a better understanding sometimes...

the appearance forum i guess speaks for itself... but they've got pics of every other honda/acura... sometimes you just want to see accords only and share your pics with fellow accord owners... you know..?

i know the search button exists but information sometimes changes or gets updated... maybe someone else might have new info, insight, etc... -i did read the guidelines and i repeat what i've said before... at honda-tech you see more "views" than "replies" for a reason... a few veteran members think they're the shiet, know everything, and create the standards of what an accord should be... people feel that their input is worthless, get offended, and they leave...
