Default F22 Bottom End Upgrade!!!

Well i have a problem that i am hoping you guys can help me out with, i am rebuilding my bottom end on my 97 accord, still the stock motor (F22) but i can't seem to find the aftermarket parts that i need, i am looking for an aftermarket piston set, i am running a direct port Nos system so i need a new nos cam, and i also want to put a limmited slip in my tranny, but like i said my problem is that i can't seem to find anyone who has the parts that i need, so if anyone knows where i can find these parts from it would be greatly appretiated,

Nobody makes any aftermarket cams for the F22 only custom ground ones. So planon paying a pretty penny for one to run NOS with. Also, for a LSD, try giving quaiffe (sp?) a try. They kind of cost aolot but I've heard nothing but great things about them. As far as a piston set, your also looking at custom pieces. There just ins't that much aftermarket support out there for the F22

I got my internals from raceeng.com

LSD is the same as the prelude. Quaife or Kaaz are what I'm looking at. Havnt found a place to get one yet.

Resleeving..keeping stock bore.

Goals are 300whp whatever that is in ~17psi?

Once there and tuned (AEM EMS) we'll see.

Will stay with the fmax t3/t4 for now. My limitation now is engine management. Looking at the AEM EMS.

BTW Stew, the sleeving was done at Golden Eagle.

Sleeve, bore/hone to provided pistons, and shipping both ways :$1030

Putting it back on stock. I know....pretty boring.

Have a second head too. May end up building it later on.

Need to spend the $'s on a stand alone.

Why not just go with a hondata with Boost capability, you could have that thing tuned and have the controller for a grand? you can control everything with this right down to a Launch controln, Full throttle shift which would be before for boost. Just throwing out an option. let me know your reason for picking the EMS..thanks

Converting to OBD1 plus the cost of a new ecu and the hondata 4B with datalogging and rom burning abilities adds up to about the same as the EMS.

The hondata cannot self tune with my wide band O2 sensor. The hondata cannot work as a boost controller. The hondata cannot do speed dependant boost controlling. I dont have to burn roms with the EMS. The EMS is plug and play. The AEM is CONSTANTLY updating their software as well.

There is no comparison in my mind.

so go ahead, do it.

don't get pissed when my project is done and i have an extra K in my bank though.

I suggest you take your head out of your ***.

You, sir, have consistantly been a raging ***** to me and a couple other people and I'm done ever trying to help you out or suggest anything.

In fact im done with this gay website.

there are things the EMS can do but Hondata cannot and there are things the Hondata can do but EMS can not, i guess you just got to weight the different options and see which are more needed. im sure you drag it, or you wouldnt have gone turbo, so personally i would rather have the Launch control and Full throttle shift because you really wouldnt need a speed dependant boost controlling when running down the 1320. and i would bet that you already have a boost controller based on the amount of power you are making, i do see the point with it can not slef tune with your 02 sensor. but hey good luck with the EMS, let us know how you like it

raceeng.com has some pistions and rods, rods are the same for a h23 and then a cam i hace a custom made cam from webber for a LX with nos and it ran fine idle was a little ruff but over all very good very pleased with it i have a dyno sheet some where with it. and if you are gunna spray it you should build high compresiion everyone thinks you need low compression for nos and you dont nos loves high compression you just have to make sure you hace rings that can handle it trust me do the research nos and high compression are verry good togther and also when you are not on the spray high compression will be good for all motor i think there are a set of 11.0:1 pistions for the accord

As far as i know you can do full throttle shift, traction control, etc w/ the AEM EMS as well. If you can't yet, i know you will be able to soon. My friend is using the AEM EMS, and he was telling me about it. Only thing the Hondata has over the AEM EMS is that you keep your factury ecu in your car so you keep your factory CEL codes and your nice stock idle.
