Default ITR Rods or Eagle Rods...Best setup for 11.5:1 IB Weisco Pistons?

Looking for reliability as well as saving some cash....Don't have the money to dish out for crowers or anything like that, but I'd like to have some lower end reliability. Rod to Rod the Eagles LOOK stronger than the ITR, but that's just because they are wide as hell. Please I'm open to your suggestions, these rods are basically priced the same. BTW I'll be running these with Toda B's so I'll only be making power till 8200 so at max I'd ever probably shift would be at 8700.

I`d go ahead and get the Eagle while the motor is apart.

either honda/honda or aftermarket/aftermarket;
piston/rod combo

Yeah stock honda rods use an interfearance fit on the small end to hold the wrist pin in place. Aftermarket pistons are usually always a full floating design so the wrist pin needs to spin freely in the small end of the rod and is held with circlips on the piston.

Using a stock honda rod would require boring the small end so that the aftermarket wrist pin floats in the rod, but at that point, I am not sure if there will be any bushing material left in the piston.

Go aftermarket.

You can do that, or you can just leave the clips out of the pistons and let the rod
hold the pin like stock does. I have used either method and there are no problems
with either.

.....i'd go with the eagle rods if they're the same price. Forged, right?

Kinda OT: why such low compression pistons? At least go 12:1...

11.5:1 and then a 2 layer headgasket so about 11.7:1. It was recommended to me since this is my daily driver. I didn't want to go too extreme. I'm basically looking for 195-200whp.
