You guys are going to think I am full of it, but I found my top end on my 00 EXVL. U.S. Spec V6 with only a cheap cold air intake. Planning on doing many more mods but I got a $6,100 bill at the college right now...ugh. Higher education sucks . Was about 35 degrees out on a long flat road. Running 92 octane. Had about a 100 lbs in the trunk and a friend of mine who goes about 275 lbs riding shotgun. Took a few miles but I made it up to 145 mph at somewhere around 5,000 rpm (I wasnt lookin that close, to busy looking at the road and checking the speedo...lol). I had it up to 140 several times just gooffing off. But this was the first time I made it up there. Going to have to get a front spoiler because it starts floating after about 125. I just thought this was funny since that is faster than the top end on the C4 Corvette I had.

Yeah, its all good. I have been racing street, autocross and done some moutain running for over four years now. Raced my Corvette, a F-body Camaro and now this.

 

no one here really accepts street racing as anthting other than stupid, anyone can street race and it kills more people are age than most other things, it's stupid and we will not promote or condone it

 

It floats at 125 and this idiot goes 145. I give this moron 2 weeks to kill himself or a van full of kids.
