Any turbo buddies interested running @ Sears Point for some road race?
Anyone? This is an invitation. Dates are January 2 (thursday) and 3 (friday). I might probably go on that Friday depending if I can get my new suspension setup, racing seat and some tires installed on time.

Sears Point track

If I don't get those installed by then, there's Laguna Seca on the 30th and 31st of January. $25 bucks more than sears point.

Rob... which one! Sears or Laguna? I don't mind if you and I just roll together but I'm planning ahead of time because these are the 2 famous tracks in NorCal. They fill up pretty quick!
I'm glad everything is working out on the G2.

Sears sounds good.
Where can I get the rules from? I take it we'd be running in the highly modded class, right? I have my battery in the trunk, I know they're pretty strict on having proper venting and what not-things I don't have

Rob. All your questions are answered in this link.

I've attended SpeedVentures last summer for the Thunderhill runs. They're not that strict. All you need is a certified helmet and you're good to go.
Normally, the race is broken up to 3 categories. Novice, Intermediate and Pro. If you haven't had any track experience, Novice group is the way to go. You get 5 sessions and about 30 minutes long with a total of 2.5 hours of track lapping and will run throughout the day. That's a lot of hours if you ask me.
Again, this is their homepage and it's an S2K club and browse thru.
