My daughter has asked that I install a new stainless muffler on her 1998 Civic. The mufflers we have found don't have the brackets welded for hanging it. Do I have to pay a muffler shop to install the muffler or is there a "do it yourself" alternative?

best to take it to a mufler shop and have them weld the hangers on.. honestly it's only like 20-50 dollars to install and weld hangers on.. just matters if you know the shop or not..good luck
