Default Can somebody confirm this intercooler....

I'm bidding on this currently and i need to know if this is a Greddy intercooler as it is stated to be..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1872998951
I'm questioning it because of the endtanks....greddy doesn't have square endtanks...not that i've seen....did he weld new endtanks on....i just need this confirmed.....if not....can somebody confirm...if it looks functional....cause i don't mind the price...if it's functional....

THat looks like a polished drag IC...drag is teh only company I've seen with teh IC mounts on teh sides to bolt up to the bar like that

Its a spearco core. It looks like the ones that came with the drag 2 kits.

DRAG uses cast end tanks. Looks like their size of their standard core.

i thought so....i don't care about the false advertisement...but if it works it works...and if i opted to buy a starion intercooler...i'd have to pay somebody to get some custom endtanks welded on......thanks for the input....confirmed what i thought...thanks

it looks like one of those SKR intercoolers - made from truck IC cores...

supposed to flow pretty well - but only like 2-2.5in thick...

Just because it looks nice doesn't mean it works well. Unless those end tanks have walls inside them that direct some of the air toward the top, I don't think that that is a very effecient design.

True, that design would slow the air down on it's way out. I doubt that is a greddy from his wording--After market greddy. He doesn't even give the size.

thats the same exact set up of the nedtanks as the SKR and the Drag, so it cant be that bad .

This is definitely not a Greddy intercooler. Greddy does not have square end tanks like the one shown

i doubt its going on a nine second race car, it WILL work fine for any street project within reason, ~250-300 whp. IT WILL BE FINE
