just recieved my TechEdge wideband kit today. it costs around $300 shipped and $125 for the O2 sensor from thePartsBin. i can't wait to put this in, i've been using Apexi turbo timer which has a numeric A/F readout. it seen to be fairly reliable but it's still not a wideband. now i can find out how acurate it is compair to the wideband. does anyone who have installed one have any suggestion on install mine. should i hook it up to a toggle switch before running it to an ignition source so i can turn it off even when the car is running so i dont wear out the O2 sensor quicker?

do not turn it off while the car is running
the o2 sensor always needs to be powered while running so the heater element will be burning off the excess carbon deposits off the sensor element so that it doesnt get contaminated.

ems does not suport obd0, i will need a conversion harness to plug the ems into my wire harness, and re-pin my distributor for 0bd1.

i know that i dont have to use an obd1 distributor, i thought i just have to rewire the pins so the ems can get the right signal. this is from what i have read but i have no experience with EMS so maybe you are right. so i dont have to rewire the distributor at all and just tell the EMS that it's an obd0 distributor and it will get the right singal from the right wire. i was just going to convert to obd1 and then get an EMS for an obd1 car.
