JDM Recaro's
depends on color and condition. black jdm recaro's in good condition is a fair price for $1900. red ones for $1900 is kinda high. anywhere between $1300-$1500 for red jdm recaro's is good. yellow, now those are pricey IF you can find them
bought mine for $1600, shipping included and no taxes, from here:

is $1900 a total rip off or a good price (used). Anyone know where to get these on the low

Not to be a total ***, but $1900 for OEM 'sport' inspired seats is absurd, truely. I can't understand why these seats are a 'must have'; my $200 cobra monaco is head and shoulders more supportive, and FIA approved. Point is for $1900, if you plan to ever participate in any racing, time trials, get a tru bucket seat, not a 'sports' inspired oem seat.
A) I drive my car everyday. I want something that can recline.
B) Im ****. I want it to match perfectly to the rest of my interior. Then it looks "stock"
C) It will be covered by my insurance without a recipt because its OEM. Read your insurance contract. They dont have to cover your Cobra seat. They HAVE to cover my JDM seats becasue they are OEM. Same reason to get a OEM JDM front. It HAS to be covered as they are OEM parts.
D) I like them. They are functional and look REALLY good. As much as I like to race, I also like to look good. Not a crime last time I checked.

i doubt that just because its 'OEM' that insurance companies will cover it.
they'll cover it if its OEM..AND came with the car.
but just because its OEM?...i doubt that. thats like saying an OEM ITR motor will be covered in a civic just because its OEM. oh, its definately OEM honda..but definately not what they appraised your car with..

Pointless argument. He likes wants to spend $1500+ on Recaros because they're rare, they look nice, they fit snug, and finally, the JDM bling factor. Hell, my same reasons!
JDM Recaros look so awesome in an Integra, 'nuff said.

So, okay
1. Your oem seats recline, correct? I daily drive my car w/ a bucket, non reclining seat, not saying you should, but that it can be been done.
2. The original seats match, as they came w/ the car, don't they?
3. I'm not an claims adjuster, so I do not know. However, if you have comprehensive coverage items that have a proof of purchase (receipt) ae covered by warranty; e.g. wheels, stereo, etc. this is an issue I've inquired about.
4. I found the oem seats, on the track, to be supportive (more so than any 'oem' seat I've been in), they do lack a bit in lateral support, but nothing terrible. Again, having also sat in jdm recaros, I cannot see where the 1900 advantage lies in these seats? No, looking 'good' surely isn't illegal, but is it worth spending 1900 on something you already have?
Again, your money your whims, but to me, I'd get actual RACE seats if I was looking for the most support and function out of my money. I'm not going to belabor the issue, but it just doesn't makes sense to me.

Really?? I didn't know that... so if i installed a JDM 4-1 header, even though it's not AUS Spec they will still cover it? Nice..

Again, I'm not being antagonistic, but this seat thing, I don't get.
