Default Question about exhaust smell...hondata and turbo

I have a built 92 Si w/ modified drag gen II kit, and hondata 2b. The basemap i'm using is overly rich and everytime i drive the car around the cabin gets an overwhelming smell of exhaust in it. I haven't had time to get it tuned yet. Do you think this smell is from the rich condition? or do you think the exhaust is leaking somewhere and should i tighten bolts down??

btw i also have no dumptube on my tial, and i have a straight pipe coming off my downpipe. I know having no dumptube will contribute to this, but it's like when i start my car i begin to smell the exhaust/gas fumes.

If you don't have a dumptube, you will get a lot of fumes in the cabin. I was running open loop for a bit but the fumes got to me. I had a dump tube made. No more smell. You should have it tuned as soon as you can as well as have it check out for leaks. Most likely though, the smell is due to you running open loop.

We have the same thing with the civic (really bad...it sticks to your close AND hair), but it has no muffler...

yep... it's the open loop setup, my buddy had a turbo B16 at open loop, it had a dumptube, but it wasn't routed into the DP (POS Drag kit), it was cool to ride in his car b/c it was fast, but i couldn't stadn the way it smelled, luckily though, this was over the summer, so it was warm engouh to keep the windows down
