are they like the 5th gen's, just have one screw on top?

if so, just unscrew and pull really hard to the front.

Yeah, one screw. I tried that and succeeded in pulling the lens off one. One way to get to the bulb. Glued it back on with weatherstrip adhesive but didn't want to go that route with the other. Guess I'll just give it a try and see what happens. Thanks.

hold on let me go check mine
OK, remove the one screw, and then pull the whole assembly towards the middle of the car to wedge it out. Then once you have the assembly out, unscrew the plug/bulb out to the left.

i just unscrew the screw and slowly but forcefully yet carefully wiggle it and pull it out of its place.

I think that is the missing ingredient, I'll try that on the other side at lunch time. Thanks everybody.

Got them both out but the LH broke in about 5 pieces just as it let go and gashed my nose pickin' finger pretty good . Fortunately the one good piece on the front of my '92 was the LH parking light. I found that gently bumping the housing towards the front of the car with the butt of your hand worked the best. The one I broke was doing the push in and forward and I leaned on it too hard . Got to meet my new neighbor in the process though. Young guy about you guys' age. He has a stock looking but very wicked sounding Nissan Maxima with a Turbo. Claims it runs 11.5's on the motor, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now but I'd like to see it. Doesn't seem possible to me. Any thoughts ?

I worked on a Maxima a while back that was some Steve Millen/Stillen package and had over 300 HP. I think the guy said he ran lo to mid 12's. ANything's possible.

Well, he said he put about 6G in the motor and it dyno'd at 350 HP so that would put him in the ballpark. I've ridden in a friend's 11 second V-8 Vega ( Yee Haw !!! ), I'll try to talk him into a quick ride one of these days and see if there's any comparison. It sure isn't very damn big.
