looking to get this or an s13 as a proj. car.
i'm not going to go directly into the swap,
but use the car as a beater for ~6 months...

someone convince me to get this instead of the s13...

Not worth it over the Silvia. Theft ratio.

 

I found a red 97 cx in my area for the same price w/80k miles. No PS like the dx though. Perfect body and int.

 

With the silvia you get that great nissan reliability.

 

that's the one thing im wondering about...
going from my dc2 (great reliability) to anything non-honda will make me ...

A sr20 silvia will kick any hatch's ***..

While I love hatches, I would much rather have a silvia.

 

wasn't there a video posted on h-t about an ek woopin up on a 500rwhp 240 s13 model? well i wouldn't say WOOPING but it won, i belive the fastest sr20 motor ran like hi 10's on slicks, so i'm sure its not unbeatable, as of reliability my bro owns a 90 240sx, its nice, it handles really weird, not like my ek, and he planned to drive it till summer, but **** started happening and is forcin him to get himself a sr20 for x-mas...ehhehe well both cars are great in my opinion and any car can be fast wit the loot, good luck wit any car you get peace
