Default chipped ecu and turbo

okay i know the chipped ecu is for na and has the timing is advanced, which is bad for fi applications. would it help for me to run my turbo more safely by retarding my distributer so i won't detonate?

You can manually crank back timing on the distributor or the preferred option would be to purchase an MSD BTM or a Hondata, AEM of course.

specifics is i'm running a b16a with a p28 chipped not sure wat program but vtec kicks in at about 5g, no governer, 9g revlimit, made for na so it's safe to assume that it's timing is advanced. turbo is not on yet thas y i'm asking questions first to be safe. but my set up is a t3 60/63, 450 DSM injectors, and i have a V-AFC that is currently hooked up so i'm goin to run the hack. hope this helps. thanks.
