problem when vtec hits

Default problem when vtec hits

when i hit vtec i can hear a little sputtering. i dont lose a lot of power but i can tell that its not kickin as hard. could it be the timing?(friend messed wit my timing) could it be a bad ecu program cuz i switched ecus wit my friend for awhile.

well i think my name says what i run but LS/VTEC running chipped p28 right now... i usually run a p72 chipped but i switched because of rough idling

that could mean anything.

what programs are on the ecu.

hondata not real sure of the specs but it hasnt always done it so i think that its somethin other than ecu...but of course i could b wrong

hondata is a little diffrent than a chipped ecu.

it could be the timing, but if its hondata i think you should go have it checked wherever you had it tuned origionally.

damn ive had the reprogrammed ecu for so long i dont even remember who did it but ill figure that out. but without the proper tools to adjust the timing, do i just do trial and error? or am i screwed until i can get tuned?
