Situation: I got a set of 16" JDM CW itr wheels/tires from a guy in Fla. I recieve 3 of the 4 wheel/tires. They were shipped in pairs. Both pairs busted open, and the 4th wheel/tire is floating around UPS somewhere between Davie Fla, Roanoke Va, and Charleston WV. I called them, they are searching for it so they say. I also filed a claim with them. Id really like for this to show up somewhere.

If anyone in the Davie Fla area, and Roanoke Va area would happen to be at ups, or know the number for the ups in either of the locations, please, i stress, please contact me, via aim, email, HT, phone, etc etc. Id really appreciate it

there's nothing you can do or anyone on this board. it really sucks but that happens sometimes through ups with car parts.

if you filed a claim and the items had insurance on them you will be reimburssed if not found within the given time frame.

all ups phone numbers can be found on their website ups.com.

Same thing happened to me w/ FedEx... my wheels and tires were shipped individually, but somehow the packaging came off of the 4th, and ended up on a set of motorcycle tires which were meant for another guy in my city.

 

Hope they find it soon.

 

That really sucks Justin hopefully they'll find it! Did the guy have insurance on them? BS luck has sucked lately

yes it sucks! He has insurance on them, but id much rather have the wheel/tire. BS' luck HAS sucked lately.

 

G'luck bro. That happen to me with UPS about 3 years ago (and, I've never went back to UPS since)...

1. I packed 2 wheels/tires per package.
2. Mysteriously 2 out of 4 wheels/tires were missing
3. UPS denied it's their fault and blamed it on me!
4. I filed for insurance which took 6 months to get my money back. (Thanks to B.B.B.)
5. You can NOT do anything about it, since you're the buyer. The seller is the one who can get insurance claim filed.

G'luck.

UPS can suck donkey nuts.
p.s. When shipping wheels/tires, always ship each tire/wheel per box. It might cost a bit more, but it's way less headache.

 

Same kind of crap happend to me too

it's not a ups but it's called tiger courier. well i bought a carbon fiber hood and Dc header. The header came in but CF hood was missing and they say they are looking for it and after 6 months the check is finally on the way(still havent got it) and all they pay me back is $2(CAD) fugging dollars per LBS WTF the reason i bought CF hood = to reduce the weight
