Default Strut Tower Bar

I have a 2001 type-r and want to install a front strut tower bar. I've seen a type-r with an aftermarket strut tower bar (actually tying the struts) while still retaining the stock type-r tower bar in place. does anyone know of the company(s) that make this? preferably on the inexpensive side.

A lot of companies make front strut bars that mount to the top of the shock, rather than the stock mounting location.

Pick the one you think looks the nicest, there won't be any noticeable difference over the stock bar.

Also if you're worried about cost, why not stick with the stock front strut bar?

Spoon about $200

DC (rice) about $100

and countless knock offs for about $60 bux.

Exactly. Anything that is relatively inexpensive/cheap will probably not be any better than the stock bar.

stock bar does a great job, I would worry about other things like the rear bar!

stock bar is tight. Spend your money on a rear bar or a pillar bar. Then you will notice a change.

Spoon bars are pretty decent in price and you can feel a bit difference.

What are you talking about?

It's either struts or shocks.
