Default 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" pipe??

Im about to get my piping done for my rsx typeS.. should i go for the 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" pipe??
op course all pipes will be mandrell bent...

I will keep the stock extractors(headers), its just the pipe, catalytic converter and resonator that im going to change... i already have a 3A racing canon type exhaust with a 3inch tip.

does anyone know how much power will be gain by doing this mods???

Well as for B-Pipe size I would recomend the 2 1/4 inch piping. I have read on clubrsx.com that the 2 1/4 pipe is the best for our car. As for gains I do not know exactly. There were a few kids on clubrsx that had the same set up as me and were producing around 187.4 hp to the wheels. I got a hayame exhaust which has a 2 1/4 inch piping and a injen intake.

So I would probably have to recomend the 2 1/4 inch piping. But do a search or just go to http://www.clubrsx.com and ask around or do a search on there. They have alot more info when it comes to the DC5. Good luck bro.

filo type R join ClubRSX - they have an Aussie forum.

Pls dont call our car a Type S. Because There are considerable differences

I have a BC Spec III. Get 2 1/2 " at least. I think the ideal is 2 3/4"

if you want Jap brand for aftermarket parts be prepared to pay SOME cash!...as for suspension I would be looking at Tein HA with upper pillow mounts.....should be around 3K AUD....

And I would go 2 1/2 diameter piping as well....

I get my parts from some mates who import it from japan. As for lowering I would recommend Spoon Progressive Springs.
